Given a clean slate, with no characters returning from any of the previous Jurassic franchise films, director Gareth Edwards had the opportunity to choose anyone to play the film’s lead character. Once he’d heard that Scarlett Johansson was interested, though, the search ended right away. Johansson signed on for the role of Zora Bennett, and after seeing first-hand what she brought to the character, Edwards says he had absolutely no regrets about the choice he made.
