Prepare yourselves, horror fans! The masterminds behind a modern horror classic, Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle and Academy Award-nominated writer Alex Garland, are reuniting to bring us a terrifying new chapter: 28 Years Later. And we’ve got some new photos from their Paris photo call featuring stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jodie Comer!
This “auteur horror” story plunges us back into the desolate world first introduced in 28 Days Later, almost three decades after the infamous rage virus escaped. The world is still under a ruthless quarantine, but against all odds, some survivors have found unique ways to endure amidst the infected.
The new film centers on a group thriving on a small, heavily-defended island, connected to the mainland by a single causeway. But when one survivor ventures into the dark heart of the mainland on a perilous mission, they uncover secrets, wonders, and horrors beyond imagination. It seems not only the infected have mutated, but other survivors have changed in terrifying ways as well.
This is a straight-up Horror film, and it’s rated R for strong bloody violence, grisly images, graphic nudity, language, and brief sexuality – so you know it’s not holding back! With a cast that also includes the formidable Ralph Fiennes, this promises to be a truly unsettling cinematic experience.
