In the high-stakes world of Big Brother, one wrong move can cost you not just the game, but the grand prize. This week, fans watched one of the most puzzling moments of the season. Zach, a clear fan favorite, had a secret power in his back pocket… and didn’t use it. The Big Brother Zach Secret Power could have changed the game.

It would’ve guaranteed his safety in that crucial week on Big Brother.

Instead, he took a gamble—and got bounced. Even Julie Chen-Moonves couldn’t help herself. She laughed and gave him a playful smack with her cue cards during the live reveal. Classic move, but what about the Secret Power Zach had in Big Brother?

Big Brother Zach Secret Power: Why He Didn’t Use It

Speaking with Global TV’s John Powell after the eviction, Zach explained what went down. The Big Brother Zach Secret Power stayed unused, much to the surprise of fans.

When asked the obvious—“Why not just use the power and save yourself?”Zach stayed calm and honest.

“I thought I was good,” he said. “No one ever told me I was a target. I believed Morgan and Mickey were with me to the end.” This was the reasoning behind not using his Big Brother Secret Power at that time.

So, instead of playing it safe, he made a long-term play.

“My plan was to use the power later to protect my allies,” Zach explained. “I thought it would build trust and help me get to jury.”

Still, Powell pressed him—any regrets?

Zach didn’t back down. “I don’t regret it,” he said. “It made sense in the moment.”

Was it a bold choice? Absolutely. But in Big Brother, loyalty can get you burned. The game rewards power, not promises, as Zach discovered with his Secret Power.

The Big Brother Lesson

Zach’s exit is a reminder to future players: trust is fragile, and timing is everything. If you’ve got power, use it.
