The energy in the auditorium was electric, with a buzzing crowd and a few familiar faces – Acts who’d tried their luck on other versions of the show before, now back for a shot at redemption. We also met a young guitar phenom whose effortless shredding will simply blow your mind.

Anna Saranina (Crossbow)

Anna Saranina, formerly of the famed “danger” duo Deadly Games, always found herself on the receiving end of her husband’s daring stunts. Now, as a single mom navigating life with odd jobs, her young daughter’s encouragement pushed her back into the spotlight. Anna, with an assistant, delivered a terrifyingly impressive crossbow act that left everyone on edge. Mel B. hailed her as “the ultimate girl power,” and when Simon Cowell suggested she speed things up, Anna’s response was swift and direct: she aimed her crossbow right at him! Talk about taking feedback seriously.

At just 10 years old, Bay Melnick Virgolino isn’t just good for his age – he’s a genuine guitar prodigy. He absolutely shredded Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” making it look incredibly easy. Mel B. felt Lenny would be “so proud,” while Howie Mandel declared, “You are amazing. You are memorable. You are a rock star.” Sofía Vergara, equally impressed, called him “one of the coolest kids I have ever met. You are a little mini tiny superstar.”
Travis Horn (Balancing Tricks)
Judge’s Vote: No
This Vegas native boasted backstage about being the “Bob Ross of his element,” promising a Greatest Showman-esque spectacle. What followed was a series of balancing acts involving weights and gym equipment. While technically impressive, the Judges (Howie, Sofía, and Simon) found it lacked the “wow” factor, giving him Xs and sending him packing.

Imagine Terry Crews‘ famous pec flex, then multiply it by a thousand. That’s Mike Munz. This self-described introvert and trainer by day shocked the Judges by revealing a physique far from the “pencil” Simon predicted. His unique act involved engaging his muscles in what appeared to be a bizarre, almost dancing, display. Terry Crews himself noted the Judges’ dropped jaws, calling it “a whole ‘nother level.”
Austin Brown (Singer)

Austin Brown returned to the AGT stage with a vengeance, just three days after his previous audition failed to advance him. Determined not to leave Nashville without giving his absolute best, he swapped the love ballad he thought they wanted for a powerful original song about overcoming obstacles. The risk paid off handsomely, earning him four “Yeses” and proving that perseverance truly is key.

Florida fast-food worker Adam Boreland brought boundless energy and impressive leaps to his Spice Girls “Stop” dance. However, Simon and Howie quickly hit their Xs as it became clear the routine lacked structure. Adam, ever the good sport, sashayed away with a smile.

The EDT Dance Team from New Orleans brought a whirlwind of energy, combining gymnastics, dance, and cheer-style choreography into a high-octane performance filled with kicks and flips. Sofía raved, “It was spectacular,” and Simon praised their determination, noting how many young acts are bringing a fierce drive this season.
Gina Bellina & Liliana (Music)
Judge’s Vote: Yes
This was a truly touching moment. Liliana secretly signed up herself and her grandmother, Gina, who raised her, hoping to showcase Gina’s beautiful songwriting. Simon, however, stopped their original song to hear Liliana’s voice, and her powerful delivery ultimately secured the three “Yes” votes needed to advance.
Yuriyan Retriever (Comedy)
Judge’s Vote: No
Japanese comedian Yuriyan Retriever, a familiar face from AGT Season 13, returned convinced she’d cracked the American audience code: animals! Her “Air Hamster Show,” featuring tricks with an imaginary hamster, was wonderfully silly. Professional comedian Howie Mandel found it hysterical, and even Mel B. took back her X once she realized it was a joke. While not enough to move forward, her commitment was undeniably entertaining!

This youth choir from the historic 16th Street Church in Birmingham, Alabama, aimed to bring positivity and honor to their vibrant city. Their performance of “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee” was nothing short of breathtaking, filling the auditorium with soaring harmonies and infectious energy. Before anyone else could speak, Simon Cowell, visibly moved, hit the Golden Buzzer, telling them, “I could see and hear how much work went into this. Every single one of you played a perfect part. We had lead vocals, we had emotion, and I am so honored that you would come here on our twentieth anniversary. And in return I want to give you something.” A truly golden moment!
