With Scream Queens officially cancelled, Lea Michele has moved on to her first TV show that has nothing to do with Ryan Murphy. On The Mayor, she’ll play the friend of a struggling rapper who hatches a crazy publicity stunt to get his career on track: He runs for mayor of his hometown. Of course, he never expects to win… but does. Along with Michele, The Mayor stars Brandon Micheal Hall and Yvette Nicole Hall. Give the trailer a look, and let us know what you think.
