Evan Peters And Blake Jenner Go On An Art Heist In ‘American Animals’ Trailer

American Animals

American Animals is the true story of four buddies (Evan Peters, Barry Keoghan, Blake Jenner, Jared Abrahamson) who, after needing a bit of a jolt in their respective lives, attempt one of history’s most brazenly audacious art heists.

Along with the witty dialogue and propulsive action suggested by the trailer, the movie should also serve as a showcase for a group of talented young actors. Evan Peters (American Horror Story) has been a scene stealer in the last two X-Men films as Quicksilver and Barry Keoghan delivered one of last year’s finest performances in The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Abrahamson is a regular on the series Travelers, and Jenner, best known as the lead in Richard Linklater’s Everybody Wants Some!!, was seen in the overlooked The Vanishing of Sidney Hall. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!

American Animals, directed and penned by Bart Layton (The Imposter), hits theaters June 1.
