Greg Berlanti has made a name for himself by creating superhero shows like The Flash, Supergirl,Legends of Tomorrow, and Black Lightning. Berlanti, who last directed a movie in 2010 (Life As We Know It), has a new film coming out that goes in a completely different direction — Love, Simon is about a closeted gay teenager who’s trying to find balance in a chaotic life. When Cress Williams signed on for the lead role in Black Lightning, he couldn’t wait to find out how he’d look in his suit. And, as he told us, he definitely wasn’t disappointed when he did.
