Here’s a challenge: in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Scott Pilgrim must defeat his new girlfriend’s seven, evil ex-boyfriends in order to win her heart. The movie stars Michael Cera (Superbad) and Alison Pill and is based on the graphic novel series of the same name by Bryan Lee O’Malley.


Grown Ups stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider as five high school friends who reunite 30 years after graduation for a Fourth of July celebration and to mourn the death of their coach.

Rob Schneider stars as Paul Zadzik, a pessimistic car salesman who finds long-awaited faith in himself after a tribe of holy men anoint him as The Chosen One…meaning that he is the sole person who can save mankind from its own destruction. All while his brother (Steve Buscemi) makes it his lifelong ambition to mock all of Paul’s failures.


Charlie St. Cloud (Zach Efron) is a young man overcome with grief after the death of his younger brother in Charlie St. Cloud. So, he takes a job in the cemetery where his brother Sam (Charlie Tahan) is buried. Charlie eventually begins seeing Sam and meeting up with him nightly to play catch and talk. It becomes decision time for Charlie after he meets Tess Carroll (Amanda Crew), which means he now has to choose between keeping his promise to Sam or moving on with the woman he loves.


Ramona and Beezus is based on the 1950s popular book series by Beverly Cleary about the misadventures of Ramona Quimby (Joey King), a grade schooler with a wild imagination. Beezus (Selena Gomez) is Ramona’s big sister who is frequently embarrassed or annoyed by Ramona’s antics.

Sherlock: Season One is a modernized version of the Arthur Conan Doyle characters using the plots for the updated stories. Only this Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) lives in 21st century London and acts more self-assured with Inspector Lestrade (Rupert Graves) because he’s actually less confident. Dr. Watson (Martin Freeman) has been given a makeover too, as a young veteran of the Afghan peace-keeping fights. Watson is far less doting of Holmes and more active in the investigations.

Lie to Me: Season Two stars Tim Roth as Dr. Cal Lightman of The Lightman Group, a business with experts that can tell if your lying by your facial and body gestures and movements. The series has taken a dramatic turn for the third season, but the early episodes are interesting as Dr. Lightman and his crew catch criminals by noticing something as simple as a twitch in the eye.

Well apparently there is plenty more to see.  In Hell’s Kitchen: Season Four Raw & Uncensored we get to watch the best of the worst that those crazy contestants endure. You know they ones, right? They’re the suckers who are wacky enough to think they can hold their own against Chef Gordon Ramsay.



Although Selena Gomez plays Beezus Quimbly in Ramona and Beezus, the Wizards of Waverly Place star feels a personal connection to Ramona (played by Joey King). Salt stars Angelina Jolie as CIA Officer Evelyn Salt, who is dedicated to her country and duty. Her loyalty comes under question when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt has to rely on her skills as she goes on the run, while trying to clear her reputation.


Selena Gomez, of Disney Channel fame, is starring in her own big screen movie in Ramona and Beezus. She’s playing Beezus, a tweenie who deal with her younger sister Ramona’s (Joey King) antics. A good example of family dynamics and affection.



Wizard of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez is a talented singer and actress, and this Friday fans can check her out as “Beezus Quimby” in the family film Ramona and Beezus.  Gomez may seem like the perfect teen role model (at least when compared to contemporaries like Miley Cyrus), but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t done mischievous things in her past.  But of course, when you’re talking mischievous with Gomez, it’s really not bad at all.  Just don’t let Gomez snatch your magic marker!
