‘Black Panther’ Knocks Out ‘Tomb Raider’ And Retains #1 Box Office Spot

Tomb Raider managed a respectable $23.5 million opening, and worldwide the flick has already amassed $126 million. Here’s the top 10:

2. Tomb Raider – $23.5 million

3. I Can Only Imagine – Faith based drama, starring Dennis Quaid and Madeline Carroll, does solid business with a $17 million debut.

4. A Wrinkle In Time – Critically mixed flick takes in $16.5 million.

5. Love, Simon – Teen drama collects $11.5 million

6. Game Night Jason Bateman/Rachel McAdams comedy earns $5.5 million and to date it’s grossed over $54 million domestically.

7. Peter Rabbit – $5.2 million

8. Strangers: Prey at Night – $4.8 million

9. Red Sparrow Jennifer Lawrence thriller earns $4.4 million and it’s been a critical and commercial disappointment.

10. Death Wish – It’s more like DOA, as this movie failed to set the box office world on fire. Bruce Willis flick makes $3.4 million.

‘Black Panther’ Takes In $41 Million And Retains Box Office Crown

Black Panther was the #1 film yet again over the weekend, and now it has the distinction of being the fifth Marvel film to pass over $1 billion in worldwide box office receipts. A Wrinkle in Time, budgeted at an estimated $100 million, checked in at second place with $33.3 million. Here’s the top 10:

1. Black Panther – $41.1 million

2. A Wrinkle in Time – $33.3 million

3. Strangers: Prey at Night – $10.4 million

4. Red Sparrow Jennifer Lawrence film makes just $8.1 million and to date it’s collected only $31 million domestically.

5. Game Night – $7.9 million

6. Peter Rabbit – The flick is closing on the $100 million mark with a domestic take of $93 million. This weekend, it makes $6.8 million.

7. Death Wish – Remake starring Bruce Willis under performs with $6.6 million

8. The Hurricane Heist – $3.2 million

9. Annihilation – Futuristic thriller starring Natalie Portman has been a box office misfire. $3.1 million

10. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle – $2.7 million

‘Black Panther’ Trounces ‘Red Sparrow’ With $65.7 Million Weekend

Black Panther continues its amazing box-office run as it made $65.7 million over the weekend to beat newcomers Red Sparrow #2, $17 million) and Death Wish (#3, 13 million). To date, Black Panther has amassed over $500 million domestically. Here’s the top 10:

Black Panther continues to beat all comers at the box office as it mde $108 million and easily remained at the #1 spot. Coming in a distant second was newcomer Game Night with $16.6 million, followed by Peter Rabbit with $12.5 million. Here’s the top 10:

‘Black Panther’ Blasts Box Office Comers With $192 Million Weekend

It was a resounding success for Black Panther, as this Marvel Studios feature earned over $192 million at the box office. The figure was astronomical for the film (in comparison, The Avengers’ three day opening weekend was $207.4 million domestically). Coming in a distant second was Peter Rabbit with $17.2 million. Here’s this weekend’s top 10:
