Ziggy Marley Admits New Doc Is The ‘Definitive’ Piece On Dad

Based primarily on anecdotal material and concert footage, the film manages to be a thoughtful and informative history of a man not a lot of people are aware of. We recently sat down with ZIGGY MARLEY (BOB’S musician son) and he admitted that, of anything that’s been done on his dad, this film is the most definitive of the lot. A Wealth Of Interesting Information Awaits Viewers Of ‘Marley’

marleySoon to be available via VOD and slated for a limited theatrical release this week, MARLEY is a thoughtful and fascinating look at the life and times of the king of the reggae revolution, BOB MARLEY. While almost everyone knows of him, not a lot of people know about him and filmmaker KEVEN MACDONALD succeeds at exposing the man behind the musical greatness.
One of the reasons there hasn’t been a definitive biographical film about MARLEY is that he was famously close-mouthed about himself and seldom granted interviews to reporters. MACDONALD tells us that even if he’d been able to interview MARLEY for the film, he doubts he would have learned anything that could be used.
