‘Footloose’ Star Kenny Wormald Looks To The Classics For Inspiration

Former Dancing with the Stars member Julianne Hough lands her biggest job yet with the remake of Footloose (opening Friday). With a successful run on television and her foray into country music (her self titled debut was released in 2008), Hough is hoping for a foothold in the movie industry.
During a recent interview, Hough talked about the difference between dancing in Footloose and working on Dancing with the Stars:

Arriving in theaters this week, FOOTLOOSE is a remake of the iconic 1980s dance fest directed by HERBERT ROSS and starring KEVIN BACON, LORI SINGER, JOHN LITHGOW, CHRIS PENN, DIANE WEIST and SARAH JESSICA PARKER. This time around, CRAIG BREWER (BLACK SNAKE MOAN) handles the directing chores, and the cast features KENNY WORMALD, JULIANNE HOUGH, DENNIS QUAID, ANDIE MacDOWELL, ZIAH COLON and RAY McKINNON. Sitting down with entertainment press recently,the 27-year-old WORMALD admitted he was too young to see FOOTLOOSE in its original release but when he finally caught up with it, was pretty impressed.
