The FOX series Rosewood, which has Morris Chesnut playing Miami pathologist Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr., returns from its winter break for a batch of new episodes. Jaina Lee Ortiz co-stars as Miami detective Annalise Villa, and her chemistry with Chestnut is one of the many reasons to check out the series.
“It’s been fun. I wouldn’t want it any other way, said Chestnut. “It’s been a lot of hard work. The show is really hitting its stride – once we come out the box with the second half of the two part episode – we’re getting into some really good episodes where the writers are knowing us as actors better, they’re getting a better feel for us. We’re getting a better feel for each other. We’re much more comfortable (and) much more fluid so I think the audience with the second half of the season will be pleasantly surprised with the development.”
