And it looks like he’ll be back with a bang. Franco will reprise his role as Franco a bad boy artist who’ll be taking the residents of Port Charles on a wild ride of “mystery, music, murder and mayhem.”

Franco began his original guest stint in 2009 and immediately made a lasting impression on GH viewers. He makes his way back to the show beginning June 30th.

SVU star, Mariska Hargitay always enjoys it when superstars are on the set, but she was especially surprised at how well educated Ann Margret (Bye Bye Birdie, Tommy, Grumpy Old Men) was about the show…and the private lives of the actors on the series.

Christopher Meloni, who plays Detective Elliot Stabler on SVU, understands why legendary actors would want to appear on the program. After all, the writers have come up with a string of strong storylines since SVU debut in 1999. And, as the veterans of the show, Meloni says the series regulars make the guest stars as welcome as possible.

Nearly everyone has heard that Betty White will be hosting Saturday Night Live in May, but now she’ll be appearing in two other shows. As we reported earlier this month, White will have a recurring role on the upcoming TV Land series, Hot in Cleveland starring Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves. However, she’ll also appear in a guest shot on season finale of the ABC comedy, The Middle, starring Patricia Heaton in May.

It was just last month that the actress was featured in a Super Bowl ad for Snickers candy bars. And at 88 years young, White shows no signs of slowing down.

JESSE TYLER FERGUSON, LIZA MINNELLI AND CHRISTINE EBERSOLE GET A LITTLE “UGLY” WITH “BETTY”

"The Passion of the Betty" - In "Ugly Betty's" first episode in its new Wednesday night timeslot as part of ABC's winning comedy bloc, Jesse Tyler Ferguson ("Modern Family") makes a cameo appearance, returning as Betty's orthodontist, Dr. Farkas. When Betty becomes concerned that she and Matt are spending too much time together, she tries to give him something else to be passionate about -- a surprise gallery showing of his art work -- with unintended results (Tony Award-winning actress Christine Ebersole guest stars as Frances, the gallery owner). Meanwhile, Marc is horrified that his one-night stand, Troy (Matt Newton), is falling for him, since Marc was Troy's "first," Hilda grapples with whether or not to tell Bobby that he's the father of her unborn child, and Cal Hartley hires a Hollywood powerhouse, Denise Ludwig (Nadia Dajani), to replace Wilhemina, on "Ugly Betty," WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/DAVID GIESBRECHT) ANA ORTIZ, AMERICA FERRERA, TONY PLANA

Ana Ortiz and Tony Plana, who star on Ugly Betty as Betty‘s sister Hilda and father, Ignacio Suarez are just two more of the cast members looking forward to their new Wednesday night time slot.  They credit the fans with helping ABC realize how it was in the best interests of the series to give the show the proper chance to increase viewers.

The actors also explained why the return of Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Betty‘s orthodontist, Dr. Farkas was genius…despite the fact that he’s wowing fans as a totally different character, Mitchell Pritchett, on Modern Family.

And that move to New York, well, wow! It’s had an amazing effect on the production. Ortiz and Plana say they’ve gotten guest stars they never would have imagined in Los Angeles.  Among those cast?  Liza Minnelli and Christine Ebersole to name just two.

Ugly Betty airs in its new time slot tonight 10:01 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.  The episode features both Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Christine Ebersole.
