Jane Lynch is one of the most enjoyable people to watch on television. Her character on Glee, Coach Sue Sylvester, is always entertaining. Lynch may be taking some aspects of Coach Sue over to her next project.
According to The New York Times, starting May 16, 2013, Lynch will play the role of Miss Hannigan, the alcoholic caretaker of girls in the foster home, in the Broadway revival of “Annie.” The show is currently running on Broadway with Katie Finneran playing that role. Many will remember Carol Burnett, who played that role in the 1982 film (directed by Academy Award winning director John Huston).
Lynch, who has a family and a very busy work schedule, told us that in order for her to take on any projects other than Glee, it has to be a role that she has passion for.

Well, nothing says “holidays” quite like poverty, pestilence, civil war and oppression than the songs that celebrate them. Opening in theaters on Christmas day, LES MISERABLES is the big screen adaptation of the hugely successful stage musical based on VICTOR HUGO’S 1862 novel. Directed for the screen by TOM HOOPER, the cast includes HUGH JACKMAN, RUSSELL CROWE, ANNE HATHAWAY, EDDIE REDMAYNE, AMANDA SEYFRIED, SACHA BARON COHEN and HELENA BONHAM-CARTER. Despite what would seem to be the melancholy nature of the story, it is ultimately one of hope and survival, two virtues that have a place in today’s world. At a press conference to promote the film, director TOM HOOPER explained that now is the perfect time to release LES MIZ. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
