First person puzzle adventures, at its best, will challenge gamers to the nth degree, and what makes Q.U.B.E. 2 an interesting adventure lies in the mystery behind archeologist Amelia Cross’ journey. Awakening to an alien world with no memory how she landed in the area, Cross, must navigate herself in a new environment and find her way home. As she overcomes the challenges that cross her path, Cross gets closer to discovering the truth, and with 80 puzzles to spare, our heroine has a ton of work to do.
“With Q.U.B.E. 2 we have pushed the boundaries of what a small independent team can create in a first person puzzle game,” said Toxic Games Managing Director Dan Da Rocha. “In addition to creating incredible new puzzles, we also focused on narrative from this game’s inception. Amelia’s emotional journey throughout the adventure has given the puzzles a greater thematic depth and spurred us on to design some truly unique challenges. We think this has truly elevated the gameplay experience of Q.U.B.E. 2 to another level.”

Q.U.B.E. 2, the highly anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed first person puzzler Q.U.B.E., hits PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on March 13. The sequel, which features new characters, has gamers playing archaeologist Amelia Cross as she attempts to escape an alien world with fellow stranded scientist Emma Sutcliffe.
“We’re very proud of how Q.U.B.E. 2 has shaped up – no pun intended – after nearly five years of development,” said Toxic Games Managing Director Dan Da Rocha. “When we made the first Q.U.B.E. we were still students, but after a half decade of real industry experience we’ve put together the kind of premium product we’ve always dreamed of. We hope you have as much fun playing it as we did making it.”
Armed with a unique pair of gloves that helps her manipulate the environment, Amelia must manipulate as well as become acclimated to her new environment in order to find a way back hope. The open ended adventure features over 80 puzzles – check out the gameplay trailer below and tell us what you think!
“The Pact,” episode two of Telltale Games’ Batman: The EnemyWithin, comes out October 3 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS and Android.
The just released trailer for “The Pact” shows that The Joker’s (Anthony Ingruber) right hand woman Harley Quinn continues her bat-wielding (no pun intended) villainy throughout Gotham’s crime ridden streets, and it’s up to the Dark Knight (Troy Baker) to take her down. An unidentified antagonist shows up on the tail end of the clip, and although most fans don’t need a teaser to whet their appetites, it’s still a welcome sight.
Although players’ choices from the first season of Batman: The Telltale Series spills over to the latest installment, Batman: The Enemy Within also functions as a standalone title. Fans of physical media can also purchases a season pass disc starting October 3.

One of the gaming industries more nightmarish titles (and I mean that in a good way), The Evil Within 2 is back with the further adventures of Detective Sebastian Castellanos. This time out he is forced to team up with Mobius, the organization that ruined his former life, to save his daughter Lily.
Taking place in an alternate dimension called STEM, Sebastian will face threats on every corner, and one of his antagonists is Stefano Valentini, a murderous photographer who’s featured in The Evil Within 2’s latest trailer. Along with giving us a glimpse into Stefano’s twisted mind (he sees the dark world of STEM as a thing of beauty!), the trailer also shows the pre-order bonus (“Last Chance Pack”) which features a bust handgun, along with crafting and health supplies.

The acclaimed Dishonored series is back with Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. This time out Billie Lurk (voiced by Daredevil’sRosario Dawson) plays an integral role in the attempt to take down the black-eyed villain known as the Outsider (Robin Lord Taylor). Michael Madsen (Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs) serves as the voice of Billie’s mentor Daud.
Gamers will play as a new assassin with Death of the Outsider, as new supernatural abilities, weapons and gadgets are all to be had in this Karnaca set adventure. With its mixture of action and stealth gameplay, the Dishonored series’ ability to seamlessly blend both aesthetics is a huge reason for its success.
The trailer, which beautifully employs Madsen’s distinct voice and the Marilyn Manson track “Killing Strangers,” teases the “impossible” task of killing a God (I can’t even imagine that boss level).
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC September 15. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think!
