goth_39-jada-publicity-two_3195rca-1For the first time in its long history, the season finale of the hit series SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE will feature the talents of two tap dancers. Both 20 years of age, ZACH EVERHART and VALERIE ROCKEY each hail from less than show-biz capitols (a small town in Georgia and an Indianapolis suburb respectively) but are accomplished in several forms of dance. Their competition tonight consists of RICKEY UBEDA of Miami and JESSICA RICHENS of California. In addition to the ‘Final 4’, the top 20 will be reunited and the audience will be treated to a performance by ENRIQUE IGLESIAS.

In an interview to promote the finale, the always entertaining SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE judge MARY MURPHY talked about having two ‘tappers’ in the final four and her faith that America will get the vote right.

The Season 11 finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE airs tonight on Fox.

The Kids Are Alright With Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay’s Famous Foul Mouth

152Culinary mogul Chef GORDON RAMSAY is almost as famous for his notorious temper and occasional foul mouth as he is for his twenty-some restaurants and roster of popular TV shows.
But the GORDON RAMSAY we see on HELL’S KITCHEN and KITCHEN NIGHTMARES is not necessarily the same man in his everyday life.

A father of four kids as well as the patient host of the runaway hit MASTERCHEF JUNIOR, RAMSAY is apparently a pro at masking his ‘bad boy’ persona when around the wee ones.

During our recent interview, RAMSAY was asked how his own kids respond to the occasional outburst and he was quick to explain that the kids are alright.

MASTERCHEF airs tonight on Fox
MASTERCHEF JUNIOR returns to Fox later this year

Chef Gordon Ramsay Closes The Door On FOX-TV hit ‘Kitchen Nightmares’

124After 10 years, 12 seasons and 123 episodes, celebrity chef GORDON RAMSAY is calling it quits for the popular FOX-TV reality series KITCHEN NIGHTMARES. Breaking the news to fans this morning via Twitter, RAMSAY admitted that working on the show has “been a blast but it’s time to call it a day.”

But the news doesn’t mean that the frequently foul-mouthed chef won’t continue to be a huge presence in the world of culinary arts. RAMSAY will continue to produce his other four Fox shows: HOTEL HELL, MASTERCHEF MASTERCHEF JUNIOR and HELL’S KITCHEN all the while  keeping his hand in the operation of over twenty restaurants world wide.

We sat down with CHEF RAMSAY about a year ago and he talked about his philosophy behind KITCHEN NIGHTMARES.

Simon Cowell: UK, USA Both Have Talent And Taste

115In the USA, Simon Cowell is known as a very blunt reality television judge who doesn’t mince words and speaks his mind. Aside from being a judge, Cowell is a prolific producer and show creator. Cowell is one of the creators of two of the biggest and most watched talent competition television shows in the world, Britain’s Got Talent and the creator of the U.S. version, America’s Got Talent.

While Cowell is not a judge on America’s Got Talent, he is very hands on as a creator/producer of the series. Some might think that what entertains us here in the USA is much different than in the UK, but Cowell told us that he wasn’t a bit surprised that audiences in both countries have similar tastes. (Click on the media bar below to hear Simon Cowell)

America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday nights on NBC.
