Luann de Lesseps sparks drama as the Halloween celebration continues in New York, where a marathon speech, tension with Porsha Williams, a disagreement with Gizelle Bryant and one memorable group photo debate turn the night into another eventful chapter of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
Before the Luann Halloween party drama really takes over, there is some unfinished business involving Jessel Taank and Dorinda Medley.
After Chanel Ayan tells Jessel that her earlier comments about Dorinda’s costume were rude, Jessel apologizes and compliments Dorinda’s look.
Dorinda explains that the costume references one of her memorable moments from The Real Housewives of New York City. Jessel admits that she does not remember the scene and says she will have to go back and watch it.
RHUGT Halloween party begins with a mentalist
The RHUGT Halloween party then moves into entertainment mode when a mentalist joins the women.
Kyle Richards becomes one of his first participants during a demonstration in which she appears to feel someone touching her even though nobody actually is.
Teresa Giudice is later invited up and asked to think of someone important from her life before television whom the other women would not know.
Teresa struggles to come up with someone and eventually asks the mentalist for help deciding whom she should think about.
That opens the door for Chanel Ayan to volunteer.
Ayan believes she can stump him by choosing someone connected to the village where she grew up, but the mentalist manages to identify the person she has in mind.
The performance becomes even more elaborate when Luann de Lesseps participates in a levitation illusion.
Luann sparks drama with a very long toast
After the mentalist finishes, Luann de Lesseps takes the microphone for a toast.
And she holds onto it.
Luann’s speech reportedly stretches beyond 35 minutes as she addresses many of the women attending the party.
Gizelle eventually FaceTimes Porsha and tells her not to come because Luann is still speaking. But Porsha, who has been delayed on her way to the party, is already on her way.
Porsha arrives while Luann is still speaking.
Once inside, Porsha begins talking with some of the other women during the speech. Luann notices and calls her out from the microphone.
Instead of letting it go, Luann walks directly into the crowd and confronts Porsha while still holding the microphone, allowing practically everyone in the room to hear their exchange.
The moment turns into another example of how Luann sparks drama during an already unpredictable Halloween celebration.
Teresa, Lisa and Alex take the stage
The party eventually moves into a talent-show portion of the evening.
Luann de Lesseps, Jill Zarin and Laurie Cooper serve as judges while several of the women take turns performing.
Teresa Giudice plays the saxophone.
Lisa Barlow performs an original rap.
Then Alex McCord, who traveled from Australia for the gathering, steps up with one of the evening’s most unusual performances.
Alex performs a breakdancing routine inspired by Australian breakdancer Raygun. She even incorporates her familiar oversized shoes into the performance by wearing them on her hands.
Luann group photo drama leads to another argument
The Luann Halloween party drama continues when the women gather for a group picture.
Gizelle Bryant confronts Luann about repeatedly positioning herself near the center of their group photos throughout the trip.
The episode shows several earlier pictures in which Luann ended up front and center.
Luann denies intentionally trying to make herself the focus of the photos.
The Luann group photo drama quickly expands into a larger argument, with Luann returning to Porsha Williams’ late arrival and expressing frustration that Porsha missed part of the evening, including Luann’s levitation trick.
Luann also tries to explain some of her behavior to Kyle Richards by reminding her that she is a performer.
Luann calls Dorinda the next morning
The tension continues the next morning, as Luann de Lesseps sparks more drama during a FaceTime call with Dorinda Medley.
Luann remains upset about how she believes she was treated during the evening and continues explaining her side of the situation while Dorinda tries to respond.
The conversation eventually continues when the women gather again and climb into their Sprinter van.
Luann and Porsha clash again
Once everyone is together, the previous night quickly becomes the main topic of conversation.
Vicki Gunvalson tells Luann that she sometimes behaves as though she is constantly performing in a cabaret.
Then Luann and Porsha clash again as the two revisit their disagreement from the Halloween party, with both women defending their behavior.
The issue involving the group photos also resurfaces.
This time, Luann comes prepared.
She brings several pictures showing moments when she was not positioned in the middle of the group. The episode also includes footage showing Luann moving other women toward the center during previous photos.
But Vicki has another example of her own.
Vicki reminds Luann about their Miami photo
Vicki Gunvalson brings up a previous group picture from Miami when Luann actually sat on her while everyone was trying to pose.
Flashback footage shows Vicki repeatedly telling Luann to move next to her rather than sit on her.
Luann remains in place long enough for the group to continue posing for the picture, leaving Vicki protesting from underneath her.
By the time the van conversation wraps up, Luann’s drama with Porsha Williams, Gizelle Bryant and Vicki Gunvalson has become one of the biggest storylines of the episode.
Between the Luann and Porsha clash, the group photo disagreement and the fallout from Luann’s marathon speech, the RHUGT Halloween party leaves the women with plenty of unresolved drama.
