The AGT Quarterfinal 3 Results are in, and one of Wednesday night’s biggest decisions came with a surprise.
What started Tuesday with 10 acts hoping America would keep their America’s Got Talent dreams alive ended Wednesday with only three of them still standing.
America’s Got Talent returned for the Quarterfinal 3 results after a performance show that had already guaranteed Lai Noelle a place in the Season 21 finals. Guest judge Kenan Thompson used his Live Golden Buzzer on the 14-year-old singer Tuesday, sending her directly past the semifinals.
That meant everybody else was depending on America.
By the end of the AGT Quarterfinal 3 Results show, Kameron Marshall, Daniel Alvarez and the members of Acro Canine Crew had earned the three available semifinal spots.
Simon Cowell will miss another week of AGT
Before getting back to the AGT Quarterfinal 3 Results, Terry Crews delivered an update on Simon Cowell.
Cowell, who missed Quarterfinals 3 while recovering from back surgery, will also sit out Quarterfinals 4.

Eventually, there was no avoiding the reason everyone was gathered inside the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
Ten acts were waiting.

Terry Crews revealed America’s choices by bringing the contestants out in head-to-head matchups, beginning a tense stretch of America’s Got Talent results.
Acro Canine Crew was the first act to receive good news, advancing over contortionist Maria and moving one step closer to the semifinals.
Next came comedian Daniel Alvarez and aerial duo Holland & Sienna. America sided with Alvarez, keeping the comedian’s championship hopes alive as the AGT Quarterfinal results continued.
Then Pynk Beard faced magician Kameron Marshall. Pynk Beard may have found some success away from the AGT stage with music reaching streaming charts, but America’s votes went to Marshall.
Spoken-word performer Guy Kelton Jones I survived his matchup against French acrobat Herwan Legaillard, giving him a chance at one of the night’s three semifinal positions.
Finally, singers Elsie and Isaac Atkins went head-to-head in the last matchup of the America’s Got Talent Quarterfinal 3 results.
Atkins and his distinctive raspy voice won that battle, completing the Top 5.
That left Acro Canine Crew, Daniel Alvarez, Kameron Marshall, Guy Kelton Jones I and Isaac Atkins with one more nerve-racking wait as the AGT 2026 results moved toward the night’s biggest decisions.
And this time, two of them were about to go home.
Kameron Marshall makes some magic with America’s vote
The first act officially heading to the AGT semifinals was Kameron Marshall.
America clearly hasn’t lost its love for a strong magic act.
Marshall’s card magic earned enough votes to put him safely through, and he’s already promising to raise the stakes considerably when he returns.
According to Marshall, what’s coming next will be “way bigger.”
Considering how quickly the competition is shrinking, bigger might be exactly what he needs.
Acro Canine Crew keeps Terry Crews’ Golden Buzzer alive
America’s second semifinal choice was Acro Canine Crew.
The combination of acrobatics and five very talented dogs has clearly connected with viewers, and Wednesday’s vote made sure their run isn’t over yet.
It was also a nice bit of validation for Terry Crews, who originally sent the group forward with his Golden Buzzer.
With every round becoming more difficult, they’ll now have another opportunity to show whether that combination can carry them all the way to the finale.
Daniel Alvarez pulls off the night’s biggest AGT upset
Then came the final spot in the AGT Quarterfinal 3 Results.
And this one hurt for anyone rooting for one of the season’s previous Golden Buzzer recipients.
Daniel Alvarez was announced as America’s third semifinalist, delivering one of the biggest surprises in the America’s Got Talent results.
The comedian became emotional after hearing his name, while Mel B and Howie Mandel praised his performance and the connection he managed to make with viewers.
It also meant Alvarez had done something particularly difficult.
He knocked Guy Kelton Jones I, a Golden Buzzer act, out of the competition as the AGT Quarterfinal results produced a major upset.
That’s one of the things that makes the live rounds so unpredictable. A Golden Buzzer can get an act through one major hurdle, but once America starts voting, everything resets.
Daniel Alvarez made people laugh Tuesday.
On Wednesday, those laughs turned into votes, giving him one of the three semifinal spots in the America’s Got Talent Quarterfinal 3 results.

Quarterfinals 3 ended the journey for Maria, Holland & Sienna, Pynk Beard, Herwan Legaillard, Elsie, Isaac Atkins and Guy Kelton Jones I.
For Kameron Marshall, Daniel Alvarez and Acro Canine Crew, the pressure only gets bigger from here.
They’ll join the growing group of America’s Got Talent semifinalists still chasing a place in the Season 21 finale.
Meanwhile, Lai Noelle doesn’t have to worry about any of it just yet.
