The first trailer for Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger has arrived, and it looks like fans are going to see quite a bit more than the concerts. There are rehearsals. There are backstage moments. And, naturally, there is plenty from the massive tour itself. But the real hook may be getting Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher in the same interview again.
The Oasis reunion gets a much closer look
The Oasis reunion tour was never going to feel like just another run of shows.
Too much had happened. The band had been apart for years, while the relationship between Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher remained a story of its own. That made the brothers finally getting back together something fans had been talking about long before anyone actually bought a ticket.
Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger follows what happened once the reunion stopped being a rumor and became real. Cameras were there during rehearsals, backstage and onstage as the band made its way through the sold-out world tour. The documentary also includes the first joint interview with Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher in more than 20 years.
That should be enough to get plenty of Oasis fans interested all by itself.
This isn’t only Liam and Noel’s story
The Gallagher brothers may be the reason the reunion happened, but they are not the only people at the center of the documentary. Fans are part of this story, too.
Oasis has had decades for its music to travel from one generation to another. Some of the people showing up for Oasis Live ‘25 had been listening since the band’s early years. Others discovered the songs much later and had never expected to see Oasis live at all. That helps explain why the reunion felt so much bigger than a normal comeback tour.
Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger looks at that reaction and at what the band’s return meant to audiences around the world.
Sometimes a reunion is simply about hearing the old songs again.

Steven Knight is part of the team behind the film
The people bringing the Oasis story to the screen know their way around both drama and music.
BAFTA and Oscar-nominated writer, producer and director Steven Knight created the documentary. His credits include Peaky Blinders and A Thousand Blows.
Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace directed the film. They previously worked together on Shut Up and Play the Hits and Meet Me in the Bathroom.
That background makes a lot of sense for a movie that has to balance the scale of a huge concert tour with the much more personal story happening around it.
Oasis fans have an IMAX option before opening day
Fans in the United States and Canada will have a chance to see the movie a little early. Limited IMAX Early Access screenings are scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, two days before the wider theatrical release.
After its run in cinemas, Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger will head to streaming later this year. It will be available on Hulu and Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.
Before that happens, though, Oasis gets its moment on the big screen. And judging by the trailer, this movie wants to capture both sides of the comeback: what it looked like from inside the band and what it felt like for the people who had spent years hoping it might happen.

Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger opens in theaters across the U.S. and in select IMAX locations on September 11. Special IMAX Early Access screenings will take place in the U.S. and Canada on September 9.
