According to a new report from TV Insider, the NCIS: Origins team has gathered for the Season 3 table read, with Mark Harmon in the room and set to appear onscreen in all 10 episodes as part of a season-long arc. For a fan base that has spent years hoping to see more of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, it doesn’t get much better.

Star Mariel Molino summed up the mood in two words on Instagram: “I’m buzzing.” She described hearing Harmon read his lines aloud at the Wednesday, July 15 session and getting full-body chills, with the whole crew back together and the energy in the room impossible to miss.
The gathering also delivered a treat for eagle-eyed fans. Castmate Tyla Abercrumbie posted the premiere script’s cover page, revealing the episode title “Don’t You Forget About Me,” written by David J. North and Daniel J. Egbert and directed by Niels Arden Oplev. With Harmon back as Gibbs, the title reads like a wink aimed straight at the audience. Kyle Schmid, meanwhile, is apparently looking more like Mike Franks by the day.
