Serving as a prequel to the rest of the Hunger Games franchise, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes takes fans back to a much earlier incarnation of the competition. As one of the competitors, Rachel Zegler says (Before SAG/AFTRA Strike) her character may be in the Games more than six decades before Katniss, but she can still feel the same kind of spirit coursing through her veins.
