With a movie like Five Nights at Freddy’s, you’re going to have a built-in audience because of the people who love playing the game. But, in order to become a success by Hollywood’s standards, you’ve got to reach an audience that’s much wider than the video game’s fans. That’s something Five Nights at Freddy’s director and co-writer Emma Tammi was certainly aware of when she got involved in the project, but she says she’s convinced the movie would appeal to the mainstream.
