Judge Steve Harvey was destined to be different from the spate of other “reality justice” shows that have been on the air, from The People’s Court to Divorce Court toJudge Judy. After all, it featured comedian Steve Harvey — a man without a single day of formal legal education — as its arbiter. As the show moves into its second season, Harvey says he’s still focused on making sure the show is funny, but he feels like he’s also proven his worth when it comes to making rational legal decisions.
