When Lady Gaga was trying out for the role of Ally in Bradley Cooper’s remake of A Star Is Born, she knew it was Cooper’s first foray into directing. But it would also be her first starring role in a movie. With that in mind, Gaga threw herself completely into the role as she was auditioning. And, from that first time working with Cooper, she told us she knew that the role would be perfect for her and that their on-screen partnership would be magical.
