M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie, Knock at the Cabin, takes place in a remote, isolated area, and the action is based in and around, as the film’s title implies, a cabin. The fact that the action is confined to such a small area, Shyamalan told us, is one of the things that attracted him to the story (based on the novel The Cabin at the End of the World), and he enjoys the challenge of packing such a big story into a limited physical space.
