People have known the Conner family for nearly 35 years, first on the original run of Roseanne, then on the show’s reboot and eventual reinvention as The Conners in 2018. Now, The Conners is in the midst of its fifth season, and Sara Gilbert has been along for the ride the entire time. Gilbert says a lot of the show’s fans have been, too, and that they enjoy sharing the similarities between the Conners and their own families with her.
