‘Smile’ Director Is More Concerned With Story Than Scary

While there are still a few of the old-school horror films around, it certainly seems like the genre has been evolving lately, with Jordan Peele’s films leading the way. Now, new director Parker Finn has joined the fright fray with Smile, a film that he says doesn’t go for the cheap thrills of slasher movies.
