Jordan Peele’s ‘Nope’ Is A Horror Movie, But Don’t Let That Scare You

While parts of Jordan Peele’s new movie, Nope, are rooted in the supernatural — the plot centers around a group of people who believe they’ve seen a UFO — the film overall works in the drama Peele’s been doing so well these last few years: horror. But he told us he wanted to do something a little bit different with this one — he says it’s horror for people who aren’t necessarily fans of traditional horror movies, and it also helps to explain the film’s unusual name.
