After six seasons, Lucifer is finally wrapping production. Of course, six is three more than fans of the show thought they would get — after it was canceled from network TV, those fans launched an online campaign hoping that somebody would continue the series. It was an effort with a happy ending, as Netflix picked it up. As Tom Ellis told us, the show’s final three seasons are really a tribute to those fans who worked so hard to keep it alive. Lucifer is currently streaming on Netflix, with the second half of Season 5 due for release in May, and no release date set yet for Season 6.
