Kelly Clarkson obviously knows a thing or two about televised music competitions. After all, she owes much of her career to having won the very first season of American Idol. Now that she’s coaching on The Voice, Clarkson is singing a slightly different tune about the shows. And she told us the reason why she loves “The Voice” so much is that, for at least a little while, it remembers that there was music long before there was television.
