‘Wonder Woman’ Gal Gadot Loved The Sequel’s Time Jump To 1984

GAL GADOT as Wonder Woman in Warner Bros. Pictures’ action adventure “WONDER WOMAN 1984,” a Warner Bros. Pictures release.

When we first saw Wonder Woman a few years ago, she was helping to defeat the Germans in World War II. But, superhero movies being superhero movies, time displacement is rarely a deal-breaker, so the sequel fast-forwards to a still-young Diana Prince in 1984. Gal Gadot wasn’t even alive yet in 1984 — she’d be born the following year — but she can still appreciate all of the culture and styles that are referenced in Wonder Woman 1984.
