Yes, existentialism can be funny. While that might not be true when it comes to, say, Camus, it definitely applies when talking about The Good Place. The show, which is currently in its fourth and final season, has masterfully managed to walk a fine line between comedy and the deeper meaning of life, giving us plenty of laughs and food for thought along the way. It’s for that very reason that Ted Danson is so proud to be part of the show, and he’s especially happy when he meets young fans of the show. (Click on the media bar below to hear Ted Danson)
