On shows like Miami Vice and Nash Bridges, Don Johnson’s seen his share of on-screen crime. However, his role in the new murder mystery “Knives Out” is something a little different for him. Johnson says that director Rian Johnson (no relation) wanted to make a movie that brought new ideas to the genre — including some comedy — and that he really appreciated the chance to make people laugh.
