John Cena started his film career in the action genre — not surprising, since he came from the world of wrestling. In the last few years, however, he’s reinvented himself as a comedic actor, appearing in movies like Trainwreck, Sisters, and Blockers. His new film is a family comedy called Playing With Fire, and while it does have a few action sequences — after all, Cena does play a firefighter — he says director Andy Fickman placed a real emphasis on making sure there was plenty of comedy and, even more importantly, plenty of heart.
