The Goldfinch, the latest film from BAFTA Award winner John Crowley (Brooklyn, Closed Circuit), hits Blu-ray and DVD on December 3. The feature comes out on Digital November 19.

Based on the acclaimed novel by Donna Tartt, the narrative centers on a young man named Theo (Ansel Elgort) who clings to a single work of art after a terrorist bomb claimed his mother’s life years ago. Theo’s tragedy has its share of repercussions, and the art piece he is holding (“The Goldfinch”) proves to be priceless. The ensemble cast includes Nicole Kidman, Oakes Fegley (as the younger Theo), Finn Wolfhard, Sarah Paulson, and Jeffrey Wright.

Special features on the Blu-ray include two featurettes (“The Goldfinch Unbound” and “The Real Goldfinch”) and 16 minutes of deleted scenes with commentary from Crowley. The DVD version comes with “The Real Goldfinch” featurette.
