Laura Wiggins Explores The Demonic Universe Of ‘Along Came The Devil 2’

Along Came The Devil 2 features Bruce Davison as Reverend Michael, a man who is attempting to shield his town over a demonic force that threatens to ruin his town. Laura Wiggins (Shameless) is Jordan, a college student who is concerned over the disappearance of her aunt and sister. Jordan spends some time with her estranged father (Mark Ashworth) while attempting to find answers to her sister’s whereabouts. Unfortunately Jordan’s family may be tied to this evil presence in more ways than one, and it’s up to her and the Reverend to fight this seemingly indestructible “devil.”

Filmmaker Jason DeVan infuses a ton of action in the final third of his movie, and he ensured that these scenes were heavily prepped so that the actors could perform these sequences in a seamless fashion. “It was definitely a physically demanding role as far as the screaming and crying and pushing furniture,” said Wiggins. “We did that multiple times for a couple of days, but it’s not a movie that’s just like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre where everything is traumatic, We were lucky that we got to build to it.”

Along Came The Devil 2 is now playing in theaters and is available On Demand.
