With The Sequel Set, ‘Saved By The Bell’ Stars Look Back

Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, and Mark Paul Gosselaar were just kids when they made Saved by the Bell — after all, it did premiere 30 years ago! Now, Lopez and Berkley have been confirmed as the stars of an updated Saved by the Bell series picked up by NBC’s new streaming service, Peacock. And there’s been talk that Gosselaar and some other original cast members may be joining them as well. While the original show may have been a long time ago, the three actors still have vivid memories of what it was like to grow up on camera. The new Saved by the Bell sequel series is expected to premiere this summer on Peacock.
