Directed by Brad Anderson (Session 9, Stoneheart Asylum), Fractured feels like a thriller that could hit the proverbial target.
The narrative centers on Ray (Sam Worthington), a father who brings his daughter Peri (Lucy Capri) to the emergency after she sustained injuries during an accident. Ray’s wife Joanne (Lily Rabe) accompanies their daughter to surgery, and they are last seen in an elevator.
When there is no record of his wife or daughter ever entering the hospital, Ray embarks on a desperate quest to find his loved ones and prove that they actually exist. Alan McElroy (The Marine, Tekken) penned the screenplay.
The feature, which feels like an elongated episode of The Twilight Zone, has an eerie and atmospheric feel that is featured in some of Anderson’s best work (for proof, check out The Machinist). Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!
Fractured makes its Netflix debut on October 11.
