It was a quiet, unassuming house on Dilling Street in North Hollywood, California. Until it wasn’t. When the producers of a new show called The Brady Bunch used the ranch home in exterior establishing shots of the Brady residence, they unwittingly turned it into a piece of pop culture history. Ironically, the interior of the house looked nothing like the Bradys’ home, which was built on a soundstage. But now, the Brady kids — along with a bunch of home renovation experts — are going to correct that, turning the home into a room-by-room replica of the on-screen residence, in all of its kitschy ’70s glory. The ironic part, as cast members Christopher Knight, Susan Olsen, and Mike Lookingland told us, is that in the show’s heyday, none of them even knew where the house was!
