Fifty years ago, Elton John released his very first album. Twenty-five years ago, he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. And now, he’s going to have a movie about his life in theaters. John has had one of the most enduring careers in music history, and new audiences keep discovering his music all the time. For that, he’s grateful, and he feels like having Rocketman in theaters will help his music find new listeners the same way The Lion King has introduced him to younger audiences. Rocketman opens in theaters on May 31.
