Directed by Deon Taylor (Traffik), The Intruder centers on a couple (Michael Ealy, Meagan Good) who buy their dream domicile in the Napa Valley with designs of having children. The previous owner (Dennis Quaid) won’t let his old property go, however, and he continues to insinuate himself into their lives! In the 2003 flick Cold Creek Manor Quaid played the homeowner who becomes harassed, and now he gets to play the villain!

The Intruder, from Good’s vantage point, is not a fantastical tale. “Because it’s real,” said Good. “There’s a real possibility that something like that could happen and people could have that type of psychological breakdown.”

The Intruder hits theaters April 26.
