With the overwhelming success of Get Out (the picture made over $255 million worldwide), director Jordan Peele has a ton to live up to with his latest thriller Us.
The great news is that the film, which premiered at SXSW, has been garnering excellent reviews, and during the festival he talked about what inspires him about filmmaking.
“My favorite thing about getting to make a movie is getting to hear the conversations afterwards,” said Peele, who is also the producer of the highly anticipated reboot of The Twilight Zone. “What I hope happens is that everybody grabs their friends and says ‘You know what, we’ve got to go talk about this. We’ve got to dissect this.'”
