Margot Robbie stars in Queen Elizabeth I in the feature Mary Queen of Scots, with Saoirse Ronan playing the titular character.

Although the feature spotlights the relationship between two well known figures, Robbie believes these women were more than just adversaries. “I think history has really painted them as rivals,” said Robbie, who received an Oscar nod last year for I, Tonya. “As one big catfight, but I think they really yearned for that shared experience and that bond. There were just constantly men in the way constantly conspiring with them to keep them apart.”
