Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse was the resounding winner of the box office weekend, taking in $35 million and besting fellow newcomer The Mule (#2, $17.2 million). Mortal Engines had a disappointing debut with $7.5 million. Here’s the top 10:

  5. Mortal Engines – Fantasy flick makes a dismal $7.5 million.
  6. Creed II – Sequel collects $5.3 million.
  7. Bohemian Rhapsody – Freddie Mercury biopic rakes in $4.1 million
  8. Instant Family – Heartwarming comedy flick checks in with $3.7 million.
  9. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – Feature makes $3.6 million
  10. Green Book -Buddy flick collects $2.7 million.
