The Grinch has been around since the 1950s, when Dr. Seuss created the character. He’s appeared in print, on TV, on stage, and in a live-action movie starring Jim Carrey in 2000. Now the Grinch is returning to the big screen in his first full-length animated feature, with Benedict Cumberbatch providing the voice of the miserly misanthrope. He promised us this version of the Grinch won’t be like anything you’ve seen before. (Click on the media bar below to hear Benedict Cumberbatch)

Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch opens in theaters this Friday.
