Laurie Metcalf’s main job these days might be on The Conners, but she’s still moonlighting as Sheldon Cooper’s mother, Mary, in a recurring role on The Big Bang Theory. Of course, a younger version of Mary Cooper now appears on the show Young Sheldon, and the character is played by none other than Metcalf’s own daughter, Zoe Perry. While she’s proud of her daughter, Metcalf also can’t help but be amazed that the two of them are sharing a character. (Click on the media bar below to hear Laurie Metcalf)
