Sarah Jessica Parker’s quick wit, charisma, and intelligence are on display with her work on Sex and the City and its succeeding films (along with HBO’s Divorce), but with Here and Now she sings a different and pointedly more dramatic tune.
The film centers on Vivienne (Parker), a New York City based singer/songwriter whose success has come with a price. After receiving life changing news, Vivienne decides to deepen her connection with her family, which includes ex-husband Nick (Simon Baker), mother Jeanne (Jacqueline Bisset), and daughter Lucie (Gus Birney). Taylor Kinney co-stars as Vivienne’s love interest (as the trailer suggests), with Common co-staring as her manager. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think!
Here And Now hits theaters, digital, and On Demand November 9.
