The very first episode of The X-Files was about missing time, and plenty of fans will surely be able to relate when they find out that this year was the 25th anniversary of that pilot episode airing. The show ran for nine seasons, spawned two feature films, and was brought back for two seasons as an event series, making it one of the most successful and beloved sci-fi shows in television history. A big part of that success, as any fan of the show will tell you, is due to the chemistry between the show’s two leads, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. We talked to Duchovny and Anderson, who said the chemistry was apparent from the very first time they met. (Click on the media bar below to hear David Duchovny & Gillian Anderson)

While there’s been no word about whether The X-Files will return for a third encore, episodes of the series are streaming on Hulu
