Melissa McCarthy has worked with her share of intriguing co-stars in the past, but nothing quite like what she dealt with while making The Happytime Murders. The movie, set in a world where humans and puppets coexist, finds McCarthy working with Jim Henson’s famous Muppets. She knew the shoot would be different than what she was used to, but she says she was shocked to discover how much work goes in to making the Muppets act so life-like. The Happytime Murders, which also stars Elizabeth Banks, Maya Rudolph, and Joel McHale, open in theaters on Friday.
