Transitioning from one career to another can be a difficult experience, even if you’re just acting. After playing a surgeon for so many years on Grey’s Anatomy, Jason George’s character, Dr. Ben Warren, has given up his scalpel for a hose — he’s taken a job as a Seattle firefighter on ABC’s new drama, Station 19. While the two professions are both about saving lives, they go about it in very different ways. So, after being immersed in medical practices and terminology on Grey’s, how did he go about making the transition to fighting fires? (Click on the media bar below to hear Jason George)
Station 19 airs Thursday nights at 9/8c, right after Grey’s Anatomy, on ABC.
